I think I only post here once a month. My youngest is home with the flu. Picked him up yesterday from school. He said his belly hurt. I'm glad I caved in and told him I'd come and pick him up. We no sooner arrived at home he ran to the bathroom. So, it's a good thing that I did. :)

We are still trying to get the living room finished. I need some old french style doors. Plus, a fire place. We have big plans with very little money. We try to use our resources. I've got my fingers crossed that we can find some good materials that someone is wanting to get rid of.

Work is going great. I love my new job! The people are super nice and they care about you. It's such a difference from my old job. All in all things are going good.

Long Time

Life has been a little busy around our house. We are tearing out a wall to make our living room bigger. My house is in total disarray.....the wall that we are taking out is a supporting wall. So, we will need to put in a beam. I am hoping that we can have most of this part of it done by May. With J working it'll take some time. We are doing all the work by ourselves. I'd take pictures but my camera quit working on Christmas Eve. Speaking of my camera, I am hoping to get a new one on my birthday. At least I'm gonna hint for a new one. We'll see. Right now all I can take pictures on is my cell phone. Which doesn't take good pictures at all. Hopefully I can get a new one soon.

Oh My

It's been a while since I have last wrote. We have had 2 holidays since my last post. Opps, I mean 3. We have been busy. Right after Christmas we decided to tear out our paneling and lower our ceilings. There is much to do. We were peeling off wallpaper. Our walls are plaster and lathe. One of our walls just crumbled. We checked on prices of sheet rock. Justin thought that it would be the better way to go. Wish I could post pictures but my camera quit working on Christmas Eve. I try to keep things updated on where we are at in the big project.

Dinner

This is Justin's favorite dinner that I make. We call it Steak and Sauce. Also, his favorite rolls are those King's Hawaiian. They are delicious!

Halloween

Okay, so Alex thinks he's to big to go trick or treating. Dakota is still wanting to go. I had them both invite some friends over to stay the night. It worked out great. The "Big Kids" stayed and scared the little kids. The "Little Kids" went trick or treating. I think they had a good time. I tried to make it fun for them both. I set up our table with "Spooky foods" and a green punch. I love to make punch. I love to use my punch bowl ( it was just an excuse to use it). We did the make-up thing and made up the front of the house with spooky music, fog machine, tombstones, huge spiders, and ghosts! It was fun!

Wedding

We are getting ready to have a wedding this weekend. Our whole family is in it. I'm a bridesmaid, Justin will be giving away his little sister, the boys are seating people and lighting the candles. :) It's going to be so much fun. It's been so cool watching his little sister grow up. She was in our wedding and now I'm in her's. It's great! I wish them all the luck and love in the world.

Alex is doing so good this year. School hasn't been a struggle for him. He's in band.
Playing the sax and is starting to like girls. :)
