Wholly Moley.....

WOW....I've not blogged on here in such a long time. Wowza!!! is all I can say. We have moved once again to Centerton, AR. I'm hoping this will be our last move for some time. I hate the idea of moving and all that other crap that goes right along with it. It's nerve racking and very emotional when you move. Tempers flair up and well, it's just no fun for anyone!

We love our new home! That's what I'm calling it because it is ours for awhile until this landlady decides to sell it. That is what happened to our last one. We lived there for 2 years and up out of the blue she tells us we have 30 days to get out because she "sold" it. Ugh....I will spare anyone who really reads this the details. But, it just sucked all the way around. But now we are happy in our new place & the boys are doing great in school. Hubby has a good job and I finally found one. Things are looking up and couldn't be better. Hooray for us!

We have moved

Let me tell ya....it's been a long summer. We have moved from our hometown in Kansas to Arkansas. I have packed and packed and unpacked and unpacked!!!! A little burnt out on moving...it's really overrate!! We are enjoying our new home! Absolutely love it~~~~no remodeling here. Thank goodness!! I never want to do that again.
The boys started their new JR High and they like it a lot. They have their first Jr High dance next Friday. How exciting...I am sure that they will not dance and they will be the boys standing on the side waiting for someone to ask them to dance. They seem to be making friends and having fun! My husband started his new job and loves it! I am thinking of making more gourmet dog treats. We went to a super cool farmers market yesterday. My husband thinks I would have a great turn out. Who knows maybe I will. Anyways, have a great Labor Day!!

Oh My

Good grief it's been a long time. Lots of things have been going on since July....mostly renovation on my living room and dining room. Getting sooooo, close to be being finished. I'm excited about it. It's been a long time coming. This is going to be lots of thought's so......

We have had a ton of snow. More to come tomorrow and on Monday. Expecting 6 to 9 inches. Sheesh, kind of getting tired of the white stuff. The only time I wanted snow was on Christmas. We got a dusting. It was gone by morning and now we just keep getting it.

We have been working hard on the renovation. The ceilings in the living room are going to look cool when we are finished. We have all the trim work to strip and stain with maybe a darker stain. That'll have to wait till spring. We have so much trim to refinish and it'll have to be done outside. One more thing to cut cost on by us doing it ourselves.

We are getting closer to being done I will post pictures. I really would like to post some of the demo but I am not sure how to get the picture's off my blackberry.

Anyways, pretty much of what's been going on around here. Just remodeling.

WOW

It's been since February I posted here last. Lots and lots of stuff going on. Kota is done with that nasty teacher. Alex had a great school year and ready to be in the 7th grade. I am amazed by how much he is growing. Kota will have a better year when he is in the 6th grade. We have been remodeling our living room. Lots of plaster and lathe coming down!!! It's been a mess but it'll be well worth it in the end.
Can't beleive that time has past since my last post. Crazy........

I think I only post here once a month. My youngest is home with the flu. Picked him up yesterday from school. He said his belly hurt. I'm glad I caved in and told him I'd come and pick him up. We no sooner arrived at home he ran to the bathroom. So, it's a good thing that I did. :)

We are still trying to get the living room finished. I need some old french style doors. Plus, a fire place. We have big plans with very little money. We try to use our resources. I've got my fingers crossed that we can find some good materials that someone is wanting to get rid of.

Work is going great. I love my new job! The people are super nice and they care about you. It's such a difference from my old job. All in all things are going good.

Long Time

Life has been a little busy around our house. We are tearing out a wall to make our living room bigger. My house is in total disarray.....the wall that we are taking out is a supporting wall. So, we will need to put in a beam. I am hoping that we can have most of this part of it done by May. With J working it'll take some time. We are doing all the work by ourselves. I'd take pictures but my camera quit working on Christmas Eve. Speaking of my camera, I am hoping to get a new one on my birthday. At least I'm gonna hint for a new one. We'll see. Right now all I can take pictures on is my cell phone. Which doesn't take good pictures at all. Hopefully I can get a new one soon.

Oh My

It's been a while since I have last wrote. We have had 2 holidays since my last post. Opps, I mean 3. We have been busy. Right after Christmas we decided to tear out our paneling and lower our ceilings. There is much to do. We were peeling off wallpaper. Our walls are plaster and lathe. One of our walls just crumbled. We checked on prices of sheet rock. Justin thought that it would be the better way to go. Wish I could post pictures but my camera quit working on Christmas Eve. I try to keep things updated on where we are at in the big project.
